U.S. Model 1860 Staff Officers Sword

Model 1860s Staff Officers Sword in exceptional condition. 30-1/4" blade, signed Raymond & Whitlock.

Raymond & Whitlock were sword cutlers in New York City c.1870-1875

The blade has patriotic etchings on both sides with an Eagle and a large "US".

The finely detailed brass hilt retains its original gold gilding and the handle is near

perfect with the original wire wrap.

With original scabbard, the sword measures 37-1/2"
