"Fisherman's Live Bait Cage"

The above is embossed and stamped into the lid; also “Patented Trenton Stamping and MFG Co Trenton, Ohio” 

Nice fishing collectible from the 1940’s or 50’s.  Has metal belt loops in the rear and was used to hold live bait such as grasshoppers and crickets.
